Welcome the 2009 doterati board

First of all, let me start out by saying thank you to everyone that served on both the advisory council and 2008 doterati board. I am very grateful for all of the time, energy, ideas and excitement all of you brought to our developing organization!

We held our first annual board election on Friday night (1.9.08) at CoLab Orlando. The meeting was open to all dues paying members and we also had a few people vote in advance via proxy. After introductions and some discussion, the nominated slate was voted in 'as is.' Thank you also to those that served on the nominating committee!

Following the all member meeting we had a great turn out for our January tweetup, which was held at FinnHenry's downtown. It was great to see familiar faces and awesome to meet so many new people in our community, as well. I had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone again at our next event!
