2008 doterati fun facts

I've been working on a multimedia piece highlighting some of doterati's key milestones from 2008, while in the midst of ongoing 2009 planning. I thought I'd share some of the interesting facts I've come across along the way:

• We have over 500 people in our online community.
• Over 50% of our members are on Twitter.
• Over 50% of our members have a personal website or blog.
• There are close to 1,400 photos on Flickr with 'doterati' as a tag.
• There are 3 men to every 1 woman in the community. Where are all of the ladies that are into tech & marketing hiding?
• We have 156 people in our LinkedIn group.
• We hosted 8 events from Sept - today: 5 happy hours and 3 educational events. Don't miss our next event brought to you by Modis, "Finding & Retaining Top Talent in a Tough Market" - it's hosted over breakfast at the Citrus Club on Feb. 4th.
