Woo hoo - we crossed the 250 member threshold on the doterati community site - only 10 weeks after we stood up the site! A huge thank you to everyone that has been spreading the word - this has truly been a word-of-mouth success story to date because we haven't worked on any 'formal' marketing pushes or employed PR tactics to acquire this initial group. Six things that happened with Doterati during week 6:

1. We held our first official board meeting on 6.12.08. During that meeting we approved the articles of incorporation and began reviewing bylaws, budget and organizational structure.
2. We submitted the necessary paperwork to secure our 501c3, non-profit status. The approved articles were part of what was required to file.
