About Me:

My name is Melanie; I’m originally from Puerto Rico and my family moved to Florida when I was 8 years old. I’ve been here ever since. I’ve been married for 6 years and we have a beautiful, yet very active 3 year old baby girl.

Although my degree is in Industrial & Systems Engineering, I work in the e-learning industry. Over the past two years, I’ve found myself loving all things social media and continue to learn more each day.

I own ModernMami™.com; a parenting blog written and developed by a latina working mother. In addition to providing content on parenting, toddlers, and motherhood, ModernMami.com also focuses on handling the specialized concerns working mothers have in attempting to achieve a work-life balance.
