New video venue needs content/crew/talent!
Hey everyone!
We're in the process of creating a new online video portal, emphasizing Orlando's home grown talent. We want videos produced BY Orlando people, FOR Orlando people, ABOUT Orlando people, things, events, and the like.
We are in desperate need of programming for our new channel! If you are a producer....if you have a show idea that you want to put together....if you currently have a show that you want more exposure for...please contact me asap!
We do have a business model in mind, so there is the definite possibility of your show actually becoming a money maker for you...but at the very least, you will get a whole lot more exposure for your show, your talents, your company, etc., while helping to build the Orlando creative community like its never been done before.
We are also looking for crew for shows that we are currently producing, and for shows that are already in the planning stages. We are a total startup (we are creating this with the money we have in our pockets, and the talent that we already have), so money is definitely an issue. We are primarily looking for people with camera, lighting, audio and editing skills, that will believe in the project enough to work as volunteers for the initial stage...knowing that as paid work comes in, they will be the first to get called on. We all need to pay our bills, so will completely understand the need to work within your schedules. Whatever time you could spare would be a huge help.
Also looking for talented on camera people to act as hosts for shows.
We do feel this is a HUGE opportunity to provide lots of work for the creative and technical field in the area in the future.
Students and interns are welcome as well, so if you know someone who is learning or wants to learn, we'd love to have them!
