I went to school for video production, but don't current hold a position where I do the actual work. I occasionally dabble in my free time and am still very interested in learning new techniques, especially as it relates to post.
I graduated from UCF Digital Media. Currently I produce/shoot/edit the web-based reality/documentary show RockStartUp (http://www.rockstartup.com) as well as all other video projects including motion graphics for IZEA, Inc. Previously I freelanced, mainly for Pink Sneakers Productions out of Apopka, where I produced and shot for a variety of shows that air on MTV, VH1 and CMT.
I produce video/film/TV locally. My current day job is producing On Demand programming for BrightHouse. I have produced films, corporate, creative, video for web. Pretty much anything. Right now working on financing for another film and concocting an idea for a documentary.
Video technology called WebOuts I shoot mostly green screen video in HD that we turn into marketing communications both on Websites & Email.
I've been doing motion, mostly in After Effects, for about 5 years. Started learning it for fun as a designer at ESPN, then I was doing commercials & theater ads as an art director for tm+r agency. Now I really only use it for screen transitions or the occasional freelance project. I miss working in it daily - there's definitely an extra layer of complexity that you don't get with web or print design.
