What are you doing to get users on a mobile site you are marketing for a client? Are you:

-using web applications on popular social networks
-using mobile web SEO tactics
-traditional media and news outlets
-nothing (just hoping that customers will find the m.yoursite.com or yoursite.mobi)

Has something worked better than others? A demographic that has been more receptive?

I think this a realm that a lot of us are going to be asked to participate in in the coming future, so the more we know the better. With something as new as mobile marketing and advertising, its good to see what the pioneers are doing to make their clients possess a successful presence in the mobile world.

Forms of creative advertising like TV or Radio would probably the most impact full but expensive... You would be able to reach a larger audience that might not traditionally use their device to browse the web.

I have a site that is also viewable on newer PDA devices... Currently about 3% of my traffic is mobile phones / iphones etc. I always am SEOing, which is how I'm getting some traffic from mobiles.

Also we get some traffic from youtube video since iphones have the app built in.
Thanks Jon,

The YouTube idea is one that I had overlooked and has great potential. Thanks for the insight!
